Steven R. Hinshaw entered public accounting in 1978 and became a partner with Lindquist, von Husen & Joyce LLP in 1989. He is the former head of the tax department and has a varied background in individual, corporate, partnership and estate and trust tax matters.
Steve provides consulting services to the firm, with a primary focus on clients that leverage the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC). He has participated in and taught numerous client and tax professional seminars on matters relating to the LIHTC and he is considered to be a leading industry expert on the topic. He also consults with development partnerships on year-15 buyouts.
