Steve Hinshaw entered public accounting in 1978 and became a partner with Lindquist, von Husen & Joyce LLP (LvHJ) in 1989. He is the former head of the firm's Tax Department and has extensive background in individual, corporate, partnershi,p and estate and trust tax matters. Steve provides advisory services based on his specialization in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) partnerships and year-15 buyouts of investor limited partners.
Steve has participated in and taught numerous client and tax professional seminars on matters relating to the LIHTC and he is considered to be a leading industry expert on the topic. Steve also provides ongoing technical tax expertise to LvHJ and prospective clients through various speeches and seminars conducted by the firm.
