With over 30 years in tax planning, tax research, and tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates and trusts, Stan Woo has tremendous technical strength. He enjoys keeping up to date on the ever-changing tax laws and likes to do research for his clients. He’s good not only at finding answers, but also finding alternatives so that clients can choose the solutions that work best for them. He derives great satisfaction when he can help his clients minimize their tax liability through proper planning.
He has worked with clients in various industries including manufacturing, construction, real estate, professional services, and hospitality. Stan also serves as the firm’s quality control technician and reviews many of the tax returns prepared at Lindquist, von Husen & Joyce LLP.

Stan chose a career in accounting and tax because he enjoys working with numbers, structure, and people. He has developed his extensive tax expertise working in both private and public accounting.
Stan is a native San Franciscan and enjoys living in the San Francisco Bay Area with his lovely wife and two children. In his spare time, Stan follows the action of the local professional football, baseball and basketball teams.

Stanley is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Stan enjoys the game of golf and is a member of the Marin County Chinese Golf Club.
